After last year’s 11-track Echoes LP, Grenell returns to remix duties for long-time collaborators Shottaz – this time teaming up with powerhouse vocalist D. Matthews for a Dance/Trap twist. Lifted from Shottaz 2024 LP Killing Softly, the remix sees Grenell reimagining the original dancehall beat into an electrifying, high-energy single. With its pulsating bass, crisp percussion, and an irresistibly hooky keyboard riff, this remix is primed to light up dance floors and playlists alike. Grenell’s trademark production finesse shines through, blending the grit of trap with the infectious rhythms of Caribbean dance music, making this release a must-hear for fans.

video premieres at 8pm, today 3 September

The final visual from Grenell’s Echoes LP captures King Ru in top form, performing straight to camera on his home turf of Melbourne. Both artists are regulars on the Melbourne live circuit, but the live footage was filmed at Section 8 – the city’s legendary underground venue for music lovers, where Grenell held a five-year DJ residency after first arriving in Australia in 2010. Shot largely on Grenell’s GoPro, the video shifts between immersive 360-degree live gig footage and sweeping scenes of land, bush, and a striking cityscape backdrop, blending raw performance energy with the natural beauty of Melbourne.

Oakley can be seen and heard weekly during his hour of Visual Radio, streaming live on Twitch with collaborator Max Shotta as part of Friday Night LETOFF from 5–6 pm PST.

Both tracks mixed to perfection by John Clayton of Increase Audio and mastered by DnB producer Nu:Tone of NTM Mastering, UK.

New Single Out October & O.G x King Ru EP out in November 2025.
